No one has a political horizon, for a post war scenario.
Political will for a two-state solution does not exist.
And witrh 750,000 settlers in West Bank and East Jerusalem, there is no way to separate the two communities.
International community for decades, has had no realistic plan to implement a two-state solution.
This ineptness has given Israel, room to build more settlements. Israel has now forced the world to deal, not with occupation; but on rights of people in occupied territory.
Israeli ministers are saying everyday, that they want a Jewish state, from the river to the sea. Israel is now pushing peace prospects far away, by radicalizing both Jews and Arabs.
Today most Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza believe, that the only way to end the occupation, is by armed resistance. Palestine has a weak leadership; and Arabs stand splintered.
The 57 year old occupation has to end.
That is the core.
There is no way to end this, except by ending the occupation.
Israel talks about ending the military capability of Hamas. Hamas is more than a military organization. It is an idea. And to counter Hamas, you need a political horizon that ends the occupation.
Otherwise Palestinians will see violence, as the only way to end their suffering.
